The King City Education Center provides a high quality preschool experience in a safe, nurturing environment that promotes physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development in children. We believe that young children learn through play and therefore the learning activities in the King City Early Education Center State Preschool are developmentally appropriate. Our practices in the four main development domains help children gain confidence, learn to trust and socialize with others, experiment with their environment and prepare children for kindergarten.

We have two morning preschool sessions from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and we maintain a 1:8 teacher/child ratio in each classroom. Our calendar year follows the King City Union School District's academic calendar. Students need to be 4 years old by December 2nd to enroll.
